Healthy Foods that can make you Fat


There are some healthy foods, though packed with the essential nutrients but still have a lot of calories that can make you fat, if you aren’t careful about taking them. The advise here is not to stop eating them but to be conscious about how you are taking them and in how much quantity. Have a look at the two examples below:

1. Avocado

Avocado is a super food with a lot of fiber. Its benefits includes having properties to lower bad cholesterol levels in the body, reduces the risk of diabetes, cancer symptoms and improves healthy skin. However, the calorie content is high in avocados and they can make you fat and help in weight gain.

2. Chocolate

Chocolate is rich in sugar and saturated fats. It cannot be argued that dark chocolate is good for the heart but still needs to be taken in moderation because the higher amount of dark cholate contains more calories and it can make you gain weight.

Remember, moderation is key.
